Painting La Jolla was a plesant surprise. It took on many different forms before arriving at an unintentional semblance of a coastline with a cliff in the horizon. The soft blends of pink and blue on the top half of the painting are a nice contrast to the textured purple and white on the lower half. La Jolla is as peaceful to look at as it is being on the beach itself.
