Stonewash is an inverted creation from most of my recent pieces. Stonewash is color forward, first. The gray blue is accented with a brilliant white and iridescent gold. Additional marks were created by scraping away the superficial layer to reveal the virgin gesso primed canvas. This miniature, although small, makes a statement and will stand out in any room.
